Alan graduated with an Honours Degree in Dentistry from Trinity College, Dublin in 2000. He initially worked in general practice before pursuing his interest in Implant dentistry, completing a two year post graduate programme in 2010.
He then joined a large multidisciplinary practice in Knightsbridge, London providing restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and implants. Working alongside talented colleagues and specialists provided Alan with a platform to provide dentistry to the very highest standard.
In early 2019, Alan together with his wife Scelina built a brand new practice in Epsom called Alan Wilson Dentistry. It was his vision to build a state of the art dental practice with the latest digital and technological dental facilities and a team of skilled dental surgeons to provide the highest possible dental care in the heart of Epsom.
Modern equipment and the team approach to providing excellent dental care has been a major cornerstone to Alan Wilson Dentistry. Challenging and complex treatments have become a source of great joy and relished as a challenge for Alan and his team.
Alan is regularly updating his professional knowledge, attending implant conferences and further education programmes and is able to provide the ever-widening portfolio of treatment that modern aesthetic dentistry demands.
Alan lives in Epsom, with his wife Scelina, their three young sons, Ryan, Daniel and Eoin and their Hungarian viszla Simba! In his spare time, Alan enjoys spending time with his family and as a keen sports person, he particularly enjoys a game of football or a relaxing round of golf.
