How does tooth whitening work?

Whitening gels containing hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide penetrate the enamel and safely break down deep-set stains through oxidation, revealing a whiter, brighter shade of tooth underneath.

Will whitening damage my teeth?

No, when done correctly. Whitening treatments do not weaken or erode the enamel. Some mild sensitivity is normal but usually subsides within a few days. We use high-quality, pH-balanced gels and provide aftercare to strengthen your enamel.

Is tooth whitening painful?

Kelvin graduated with honours from Aberdeen Dental School, earning multiple prizes for his academic and clinical excellence. He began his career in the Liverpool and Manchester region before relocating to London to further his practice.
Before studying dentistry, Kelvin qualified as a Dental Therapist and Hygienist at the esteemed Plymouth University – Schools of Medicine and Dentistry. His clinical experience spans oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and aesthetic dentistry, tailoring treatments to meet each patient’s unique needs.

Kelvin is known for his calm yet professional demeanour, helping patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. He also offers Invisalign, children’s dentistry, and sedation services for anxious patients.

To enhance his clinical skills, Kelvin completed the highly sought-after year-long Chris Orr Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry. This advanced training allows him to deliver exceptional care in these areas.

Outside of work, Kelvin enjoys staying active through various sports and indulges his passion for travel by exploring different cultures. A devoted Manchester United fan, he remains loyal even during challenging seasons.
